Between the module rows there is a <strong>Own living space<\/strong>who until now <strong>Barely understood<\/strong> is. Which plants grow there, how they develop and whether they are suitable as forage plants is currently being investigated by a <strong>Research team<\/strong> the <strong>University of G\u00f6ttingen <\/strong>and the <strong>University of Cologne<\/strong> in her research project on the<a href=\"https:\/\/sonne-sammeln.de\/en\/landwirtschaft\/forschungsprojekt-landwirtschaftlicher-wert-von-solarparks\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/sonne-sammeln.de\/landwirtschaft\/forschungsprojekt-landwirtschaftlicher-wert-von-solarparks\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> \"Agricultural value of solar parks\"<\/a> . Yours <strong>Goal<\/strong> is to show how <strong>Combining energy production, agriculture and biodiversity<\/strong> leave.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Initial findings on the research project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the <strong>Summer 2025<\/strong> were the researchers <strong>on the road in several solar parks<\/strong> - among others in <a href=\"https:\/\/sonne-sammeln.de\/en\/solarparks\/solarpark-klein-rheide\/\">Klein Rheide<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/sonne-sammeln.de\/en\/solarparks\/solarpark-lauterbach\/\">Lauterbach <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/sonne-sammeln.de\/en\/solarparks\/solarpark-gottesgabe\/\">Gift of God<\/a>. They collected <strong>Samples<\/strong>led <strong>Measurements<\/strong> through and <strong>documented<\/strong> meticulously every detail. This work is tedious, but crucial. Because only through <strong>Precise data collection<\/strong> can be used to show what influence the solar modules really have.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to make the research more tangible, the <strong>SonneSammeln<\/strong> the scientists <strong>for a day at the Klein Rheide solar park. <\/strong>The video shows how complex and fascinating this work is. With patience, precision and passion, knowledge is created here that extends far beyond the energy transition.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-fe48e5de wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?reload=9&amp;time_continue=1&amp;v=2DoYnTp-458&amp;embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fsonne-sammeln.de%2F&amp;source_ve_path=Mjg2NjY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Directly to the video<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>First results<\/strong> indicate this, <strong>that solar parks actually promote diversity on grassland<\/strong> can. The modules create <strong>Different light and humidity conditions<\/strong>. This creates niches in which <strong>new plant species<\/strong> can grow. In the long term, this could not only <strong>Strengthen biodiversity<\/strong>but <strong>also new forms of agricultural utilisation<\/strong> enable.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More about the research project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is being analysed? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The scientists are analysing, <strong>what exactly happens under and between the solar modules<\/strong>. They measure how <strong>Light, humidity and temperature<\/strong> to the <strong>Vegetation<\/strong> impact. They are interested in whether the <strong>Areas also suitable for animals<\/strong>. Sheep, for example, could in future not only look after the land, but also make a living from it.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How is the data collected?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The teams rely on traditional fieldwork and modern technology for their investigations. In addition to <strong>Plant samples<\/strong> and <strong>Soil analyses<\/strong> use them <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sonne-sammeln.de\/en\/landwirtschaft\/forschungsprojekt-landwirtschaftlicher-wert-von-solarparks\/#methodik\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LiDAR scanner<\/a><\/strong>which uses laser pulses to achieve precise <strong>3D image of the grassland<\/strong> create. This means that even the areas under the modules that are difficult to access with the naked eye are captured.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Further updates<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The researchers will <strong>Interim results<\/strong> in autumn <strong>at the Forum SolarPlus<\/strong>. <strong>Beginning of 2026<\/strong> follows a <strong>Webinar<\/strong> with initial analyses. One thing is already clear: this research is changing the way we look at solar parks.
