On the occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity, the SonneSammeln initiative invites you to the 22 May 2024 cordially to the Webinar "Solar parks as part of our cultural landscape" a. The webinar will take place from 11:00 to 12:00 online and is the first in a four-part webinar series on the topics of biodiversity, management and species diversity in ground-mounted PV systems. Participation is free of charge.
The expansion of solar parks offers a great opportunity to positively influence biodiversity in our cultural landscape. Solar park areas provide a habitat for animals and plants. But how can biodiversity develop in ground-mounted PV systems? And how can it be preserved in the long term? Biologist Dr Tim Peschel has important answers to these questions. Bernhard Strohmayer, Head of Renewable Energies at the bne, takes on the political categorisation of these measures and provides an outlook for the future of photovoltaics up to 2030.
