Renewable energies are our The future

SonneSammeln is an initiative under the umbrella of the German Association of the New Energy Economy (bne), which is actively supported by companies from the renewable energy sector. With up-to-date information and practical examples, it aims to provide information on important topics from the solar industry.

Solar parks are more than just systems for generating electricity!

SonneSammeln is a knowledge portal that is aimed at different target groups and supports them on their way to climate-neutral energy generation. With a special focus on solar parks, the Information for local authorities, farmers and those interested in environmental protection and nature conservation.

To achieve the 2030 climate targets, everyone must pull together. SonneSammeln builds a bridge between different stakeholders. With newest Knowledge from practice, politics and science about ground-mounted PV systemsimportant pillars for PV expansion in Germany.

We are convinced that solar parks can be a win-win situation for everyone involved. With this goal in mind, we show you how solar parks are planned in such a way that everyone benefits - Citizens as well as municipalities, farmers, climate, environmental protection and nature conservation.

SonneSammeln is orientated towards the interests of local people, takes emerging reservations seriously and strengthens environmental protection and nature conservation. The initiative makes a contribution to the energy transition by supported in the decision-making process - with information, facts and practical examples. As one of The platform, which is supported by the Federal Association of the New Energy Economy (bne), provides information for:

  • Municipalities and citizenswho are interested in participation opportunities and/or would like to realise a PV system on site,
  • Farmersthat deal with the advantages of solar parks,
  • Nature conservation enthusiastswho want to learn about the added value of solar parks for biodiversity and
  • Energy transition enthusiasts

Important: SonneSammeln is not a platform for individual legal or project enquiries and cannot broker projects. The portal serves the sole purpose of processing information for different target groups.

I am convinced that we can only achieve the energy transition together. However, we must not lose sight of the people on the ground and need good solutions for everyone involved. Finding these is my daily task, which is very close to my heart.

Good planning - good solar parks

our vision

With the Self-commitment "Good planning of ground-mounted PV systems", a large number of solar companies have already voluntarily committed themselves to good practice. Good planning requires Quality standards for planning processes fixed. With these measures, solar parks can make a significant contribution to improving local conditions for nature and the environment. In the planning, construction and operation of solar parks, the signatories are committed to achieving a contribution that goes beyond the regulatory requirements from which everyone involved in the project and process can benefit.

Self-commitment sets standards

In detail, the measures include obligations...

  •  opposite Municipalitiesthe Administrationand towards Citizens,
  • opposite Farmers on land utilisation,
  • to the Integration of solar parks in the Landscape,
  • to the Increasing biodiversity,
  • to Planning, realisation and Technology of the systems.
