Quality becomes the norm

The share of renewable energies has grown significantly in recent years. Rooftop systems currently account for around two thirds of PV expansion. Now the expansion of solar parks and storage systems is starting to boom. Home storage systems are the norm for building photovoltaics. Now, large battery storage systems are becoming economical and thus standard for solar parks. This is good news for our energy system. Solar battery power plants replace fossil-fuelled generation, which is harmful to the climate and expensive.

The success story of the Dream team of photovoltaics and storage has not yet reached people's consciousness. With Fact papers we would like to help to publicise our successes. Because in the coming years, PV expansion will not only require a high quantity, but also first-class quality.

  • With well over one gigawatt of PV expansion per month we will manage the energy transition faster than many people think.
  • With photovoltaics, the Storage expansion. With Save Electricity production in line with demand.
  • Solar power is already the Most favourable form power generation.
  • Photovoltaic storage systems are economical and are the whole year available.
  • Solar energy is simpler and safer than the use of fossil fuels.

If we continue to tackle this issue, Germany will be well on the way to completing the energy transition. With high expansion quality, the power supply remains secure and reliable in the long term. The key to this is large-scale storage, i.e. batteries in containers that are integrated into the solar park. Such storage systems utilise the existing grid connection of the solar parks and enable security of supply. In the coming years, they will also become Anchor for grid stability.

Solar parks: Favouring the energy transition

Solar power is the energy turnaround's favouremaker. Companies from the industrial and commercial sectors are already relying on electricity supplies from photovoltaics. They are increasingly concluding direct supply contracts with solar parks and there is a good reason for this: With solar energy, electricity costs for companies can be planned for decades. Together with photovoltaic systems on the roofs and car parks of their premises, they supply machines and produce more competitively.
