Nørhede-Hjortmose solar park
The Nørhede-Hjortmose solar park, built by GreenGo Energy Group A/S and operated by ENCAVIS AG, is located around 10 kilometres north-east of the Danish town of Ringkøbing. With an area of 26.5 hectares, it is the only plant analysed in the study that is located in Denmark. It was selected because it is a comparatively large plant with a tracker system in which the solar modules follow the sun uniaxially. There are large open areas without panels within the system. A wide path runs through the centre of the system.

Natural environment and special features
Apart from two gaps in the north and south of the site, the site is surrounded by a row of trees. A farm adjoins the site to the north. On the east and west sides there are small mixed woodlands (a few hectares). Otherwise, the surrounding area is heavily characterised by agriculture. Fields border the solar park on each side. To the south, there are several wind turbines just a few metres away.
The facility is located about 12 metres above sea level on flat land.

The "NEXTRACKER, NX HORIZON" tracker racks were installed in the system.
The modules are bifacial.
Both gravel and gravel paths were laid out in the facility.
In addition to the use of a tracker system, the system is characterised by 377 installed inverters, several substations and a HV transformer station. The fence has a 40 cm high passage for small animals.
Management
The area is mechanically mowed once a year. In addition, the vegetation strip is maintained and dead plants are replaced.
Equalisation measures
There were no compensatory measures.
