bne webinar: Rethinking energy planning - digital twin using the example of Bollingstedt

Register now free of charge for the joint webinar organised by bne and The smarter E Europe.

The Bollingstedt project clearly demonstrates how a digital twin can be used in the energy sector. A digital twin virtually maps real infrastructures and is continuously supplied with current data to enable simulations, forecasts and optimised decisions. In Bollingstedt, the project developer Eco Stor and the grid operator SH Netz jointly operate such a model, which maps the local energy flows from renewable sources and runs through various grid utilisation scenarios. This enables the grid operator to improve energy planning, reduce peak loads and control the expansion of sustainable technologies in a targeted manner.
