The Online event "Nature conservation in solar parks" from NRW.Energy4Climate deals with the question how the expansion of solar parks can be harmonised with nature and species conservation. be brought to it.

According to the Energy Society for Energy and Climate Protection North Rhine-Westphalia, nnew solutions when different perspectives are brought together be analysed. In this case, the aim is to discuss how solar parks can be designed in a nature-friendly way and what opportunities arise for biodiversity on open-space PV areas. In the online seminar Dr Julia Wiehe, specialist at the Competence Centre for Nature Conservation and Energy Transition (KNE), presented the perspective of nature conservation, while Bernhard BaumannManaging Director at SolarBlick, reports on the day-to-day running of the project.
