Kühnhausen solar park

ENERPARC AG's Kühnhausen solar park is located in the Franconian Alb 200 metres east of the village of Kühnhausen. It has a total area of 13.53 hectares and was put into operation in April 2019 (first construction phase) and January 2020 (second construction phase). Special features include the hillside location, the relatively narrow row spacing of 2.3 to 2.4 metres and a public gravel path that divides the site into two parts; a smaller part to the north of the path and a large part to the south.

Relief

The highest point is 542 metres above sea level in the north-east of the site. It drops to 495 metres above sea level in a south-westerly direction.
