The results of the comprehensive nationwide Field study on biodiversity in solar parks were published on 27 March 2025 presented. As part of a Specialist conference in Berlin presented the Federal Association of the New Energy Economy together with the authors of the study.

The final study was announced on 26 March by the Bundesverband Neue Energiewirtschaft published. The document on the download can be found at the end of this article or on our study page.

The recordings of the conference with the study presentation by the authors, the panel discussion and the presentations are now available in our Media centre for the study available. Please note: Unfortunately, recordings and presentations are only available in German.

Participants on site: 100 guests from nature conservation, the solar industry, politics and the press, plus numerous participants via livestream

After the two biologists Rolf Peschel and Dr Tim Peschel the most important Findings of their study have presented, discuss Representatives from nature conservation, authorities, politics and the energy industry the great importancethat the study will take on in practice.

At the on-site conference, two specialist presentations will be offered per session. We can only one lecture per session digitally in the livestream transmitted. The presentations on "Planning-relevant information from the study" and the deep dive on bats in the solar park will be recorded and broadcast. afterwards as a video series on SonneSammeln so you won't miss a thing!

Throw already now at a glance into our Study "Biodiversity in solar parks": In 2024, the Flora and fauna in 30 ground-mounted PV systems nationwide examined and eight species groups systematically analysed. The extensive findings on the current status of biodiversity in solar parks are useful for both the Authorisation practice as well as for the Species and nature conservation relevant.

At our specialist conference you can expect, among other things, a detailed presentation of the most important results at first hand from the Authors of the study.
